Check Right to Education (RTE) Admission criteria to Maharashtra State here below:

• Age Limit: Student must align with valid age limits for admission to respective class and school.

• Income Criteria: Family annual income from all sources not exceed to INR 1 Lakh.

• The applicant must be a resident of the Maharashtra State.

• Applicant must come from BPL, SC, ST or financially disadvantaged family.

• Residential Area: Applicant residential address must fall within 1 km to 3 km specified range of the selected schools.

The application process is online for RTE (Right to Education) 25% Scheme Admission to Maharashtra State. Just follow the below given steps for more details:

• Go to the Maharashtra School Education Department official website: student.maharashtra.gov.in
• On Homepage, search and click on the link titled as “Click Here: RTE 25% Admission for 2026-27” and you system will be redirected to new webpage.

• Click on the “Online Applications” and choose the “New Registrations” option displayed.
• Fill the required details carefully and get the Application Numner and password after completing this phase.
• You can choose upto 10 Schools within 1 km to 3 km range by accessing the Google Map System.
• Upload the scanned documents such as Birth Ceritifcate, Aadhar Card, Income Proof Certificate, etc.
• Verify all entered details and submit the RTE application form.

RTE Maharashtra Lottery Result 2026-27

Admission under RTE Scheme in Maharashtra State is based on lottery system. The Maharashtra School Education Department will draw a lottery and declare RTE Maharashtra Lottery Result 2026 1st, 2nd, 3rd and more based on the availability of seats. Students who meet the eligibility criteria and belongs to reserved category will get the priority in RTE admission.
