Delhi Sarvodaya Vidyalaya Admission 2026-27 Started

Admissions for Nursery, KG and Class 1 in Sarvodaya Vidyalaya Delhi for academic session 2026-27 has been started from 02 March 2026. The Directorate of Education (DOE) Delhi Government has issued the official guidelines about to admission to Sarvodaya Vidyalaya for session 2026-27. Parents can collect the admission application forms directly from the concerned Sarvodaya Vidyalaya.

The last date to submit Sarvodaya Vidyalaya Admission Form 2026-27 is 16 March 2026 (Monday). Parents or guardians can collect application forms in any working days from 08:30 AM to 11:30 AM for morning shift schools and for evening shift school, admission form can be collected from 02:30 PM to 05:30 PM.

Residential Eligibility (Delhi Resident Only)

Candidates who are willing to apply for Delhi SV Admission 2026-27, must are permanent residents of Delhi. Out of Delhi candidates are not eligible to apply. Candidate must have to provide the valid residence proof such as Voter Card, Ration Card, Electricity Bill, Aadhar Card with a Delhi Address or any other document accepted by DoE Authority.

Note: In special cases, age relaxation upto 30 days (both minimum and maximum) can be granted by Head of School/ Principal. More age relaxation is also applicable for specially abled children (Divyang) as per the DoE Rules.

Application form can be collected from concerned Sarvodaya Vidyalaya (SV) till to last date i.e. 16 March 2026. Parents can visit the concerned SV School campus and get the admission form from the help desk. The application form is completely free. Documents Required for Delhi Sarvodaya Vidyalaya Admission 2026

Candidate must have to Attach self-attested photocopies along with admission form. The Original Document Verification will be done after selection at the time of admission:

• Child’s Date of Birth Certificate: Parent must have to provide the Date of Birth proof which can be issued by MCD birth certificate, Anganwadi record, hospital record, or any authorized government body.
• Residence Proof of parent/guardian: They can provide their ration card with child’s name, voter ID, Aadhaar, electricity bill, bank passbook, passport, etc.) as proof of Delhi Permanent Resident.
• One latest passport-size photograph of the child.
• Caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC) or Disability certificate (if applicable).

Delhi Sarvodaya Vidyalaya Admission 2026-27 Selection Process

The selection process for admission to Nursery, KG and Class 1 at Sarvodaya Vidyalaya Delhi is done based on Lottery System / Draw of lots. When the applicants exceed the number of seats available in that class or priority category, a transparent lottery will be organized by school admission authority.

Lottery will held on 20 March 2026 in the presence of School Management Committee members and parents. Timing of lottery draw for morning shift is 11 AM and for evening shift will be 03 PM.

Display of Selection List and Waiting List: The first round of selected students list will be displayed on school notice board on 23 March 2026. Selected candidates must have to provide the valid documents for document verification process and complete admission formalities between 24 March to 02 April 2026. If seats remain vacant, then waiting list draw will be held between 04 to 07 April 2026.
