• There is no age limit criteria is applicable to apply for OTET Exam 2026.
• Paper 1 (classes 1-5): Applicant must have passed Higher Secondary (12th) and have completed D.El.Ed/ B.El.Ed or equivalent qualification can apply for OTET Paper 1.
• Paper 2 (classes 6-8): The required educational qualification is Graduation with B.Ed/ D.El.Ed or equivalent courses.
• Candidate must be permanent residents of Odisha State.

• Visit the BSE Odisha Official Website – www.bseodisha.ac.in.
• Find the Odisha OTET 2026 Online Application form in the latest update section. Click on the online apply button.
• Select The Paper under Paper 1 or Paper 2 or Both. Go to New Registration if you are going to apply first time. If you have alread registered then login with login details.
• OTP Verification: After completing the registration you will have to validate the details through OTP received on registered mobile number or email id.
• Fill the online application form entering the details such as Personal Data, Acadmic information, Address, Eligibility, Information Sheet, Payment and declaration details.
• Verify the entered details and proceed to pay the OTET Examination fee.
• Make the payment of fee through online mode and take a hard copy of submitted application form.

OTET Exam Pattern & Syllabus 2026-27

The OTET Exam 2026 will be held to evaluate the teaching aptitude and subject knowledge of applicant who wants to become a Government Teacher in Odisha State. In this exam there are two papers. The Paper 1 is for Primary Level Teachers (Classes 1 to 5), while paper 2 is for Upper Primary Level (Classes 6 to 8). Each paper is 150 minutes long and total 150 MCQs Questions will be asked from various subjects sich as Child Development and Pedagogy, Mathematics, Science, Languages, Social Studies and Environmental Studies. There is no negative marking in this exam.
