The Sainik School Society grants the admission to U P Sainik School, Lucknow and Sainik School Gorakhpur. Both schools are English medium residential schools and affiliated with CBSE, New Delhi.

Sainik School UP Admisssion 2026 Application Fee

Sainik School Uttar Pradesh Admission 2026 Application submission process has started from 15 September 2025 and end on 20 October 2025 without late fee of Rs.1000/-. After past the 20 October 2025, andidates can apply by paying late fee of Rs.2000/- and dates to apply with late fee 21 October to 31 October 2025.

Reservation of Seats

Reservation: Out of total vacancies, 27 % of the seats are reserved for OBC Category applicants, 21 % for SC, 02% for ST and 10 % for EWS-GEN category. There is only SELF FINANCE SEAT for Class IX Boys’ applicant for UP Sainik School, Lucknow.

Note: Vimukt Jati will not be considered in the ST category.

On successful registration, Applicant will get the Username & Password for logging into their dashboard for further steps.

STEP 2 : APPLICATION FORM – Fill the Application Form with all necessary details. All fields should be filled or selected very carefully. Fields having (*) marks are mandatory. Applicant can edit his/her application any number of times before the successful payment. Applicant must upload his/her latest colored photograph and signature. The size of photograph must be Width: 150, Height: 200 and
signature Width: 250, Height: 100. Further parameters about the image upload are given in prospectus.

STEP 3 : ONLINE PAYMENT – Next step is to Make Payment of application fee. Please ensure your application form details carefully because after fee payment, applicant can’t edit his/her application form in any way.

STEP 4 : PRINT APPLICATION FORM – After successfully payment of application fee, Applicant must take the printout of the application form and keep it safe for future references.

STEP 5 : CORRECTION WINDOW – Correction window will open from 03 November 2025 to 06 November 2025 (1700 Hrs). Applicant can edit the details in the Application form except Name, Class, Mobile No, and E-mail ID.

STEP 6 : PRINT ADMIT CARD – Admit Card will be generated after 05 December 2025 on the official portal.
